This project is set around finding SIDE LENGTHS using trigonometry. Your students will go outside and actually use trigonometry. You can also incorporate similar triangles very easily to this project.

I love experiential learning. I leverage guiding questions to develop understanding. In my mind, understanding is way more important than anything else in HS mathematics.
My own education history
I have a BA in Mathematics and Secondary Education, and I am currently perusing a MS in Pure Mathematics.
