About the store
I am a veteran secondary educator with over 20 years of classroom experience working with diverse learners, including students with ADHD, anxiety, learning differences, and executive functioning challenges. My work has included teaching core academic courses, supporting students in advisory and writing-intensive settings, and helping learners build sustainable systems for focus, organization, and follow-through. Experience

Teaching style

My teaching style is structured, compassionate, and student-centered. I believe in: clear expectations without pressure flexible systems that honor different brains supporting regulation before productivity tools that make thinking visible without overwhelming students I design resources that help students (and teachers) feel grounded, capable, and supported — especially on hard days.

Awards & shining teacher moments

My proudest moments as an educator are not awards, but the quiet wins: students learning how to break work into manageable steps overwhelmed learners finding language for what they need classrooms becoming calmer, more humane spaces. These tools are born from those moments — when structure becomes support instead of stress.

My own education history

I hold advanced degrees in English and writing-intensive humanities fields and have spent my career working at the intersection of literacy, critical thinking, and student support. My academic background informs the clarity, precision, and intentional design of the resources I create — while my classroom experience ensures they remain practical and usable.

Additional biographical information

Willow & Graphite creates calm, low-pressure planning tools that support executive functioning, emotional regulation, and sustainable productivity. These resources are designed for real classrooms and real lives — especially for students, teachers, and adults navigating ADHD, burnout, overwhelm, or high cognitive load. Every product is intentionally minimalist, emotionally supportive, and flexible enough to adapt to different needs without adding pressure. The focus is always on clarity, gentleness, and usefulness — not perfection. Willow & Graphite was created from a belief that tools should reduce cognitive load, not add to it. These resources are designed to be adaptable, non-punitive, and respectful of the emotional realities students and educators face. They are especially useful for neurodivergent learners, but beneficial for anyone who needs structure without shame. Thank you for being here.
