Hi, I'm a Geography teacher with experience educating at various levels across the south of England, ranging from mainstream schools, SEN and extra-curricular tuition. I also have experience in teaching Humanities, English and PSHE topics, as well as having worked as a cover supervisor and an exams invigilator. I've also had the chance whist studying and practising Geography to visit some fabulous locations around the world such as the Sahara Dessert, the American Heartland for my dissertation and Germany as part of my degree study programme. All of my experiences so far have added to my passion for the subject and I continue to produce and edit educational material today with a view to passing on my enthusiasm for the subject as well as inspiring new Geographers.

The Forbidden City, China
Located in the heart of Beijing, The Forbidden City was once the palace of the Chinese emperors during the Ming and Qing Dynasties and the largest ancient palace in the world. The Forbidden City was built between 1406 and 1420 under the order of Yongle Emperor of the Ming Dynasty. More than one million people were used to build the expensive palace. Materials where brought in from all-over China, including ‘golden’ bricks, logs of the rare Phoebe Zhennan trees, and blocks of marble made.

The Quechue Tribe
High in the Andes Mountains of South America live the Quechua tribe. They live by farming potatoes, barley and maize, as well as other crops. They keep cattle, sheep, chickens and…llamas. Llamas are close cousins of camels, minus the hump, and come in very handy for riding and carrying heavy loads.
