About the store
I am currently a teacher in a special education Life Skills department. I am starting my 8th year of teaching students with special needs. I work with students who have low incidence disabilities and have also worked with students who have Emotional/Behavior disabilities and Learning disabilities. I previously spent 35 years as an engineering tech and drafter. My task then was to identify engineering problems and find inovative solutions. I now use those skills to develop age-appropriate educations supports.

Additional biographical information
After retiring from my initial career in drafting, engineering support, and process documentation, I went back to college to earn a degree in education so I could work with students who were being underserved in my rural community. My life took me to another state but I continued to pursue my education and was able to start teaching before I turned 60 - barely.
