The 8 Strands of Social Studies Activity is set-up to be used as a packet and/or for "jigsaw" stations. 1.) Students will name and define each of the 8 Strands of Social Studies. 2.) Students will complete a 5 Minute Brainstorm activity for each strand. 3.) Students will Share & Discuss their thoughts. 4.) Studens will Reflect on what they have learned. Packet and "jig-saw" Stations are BOTH are included- they can be used separately or in coordination.

This is a no-prep, printable workbook for students to record Academic Vocabulary as they learn it in content area classes. The lay-out of this resource is prepped for double-sided printing or copying. A Word Wall has been included so students can add and view all of the words in their dictionary, at a glance.
