About the store
Many of my resources are games that I have developed to help students use science vocabulary or activate prior knowledge to help them tie together new concepts. Although many of them could be used in any subject area. Research has shown that playing board games in the classroom helps brain development and offer a variety of opportunities for our students. I hope that these resources are able to assist in your classroom as well. I have a Bachelor of Science degree that eventually led me to earning my teaching certification and later a Master of Education in instruction and curriculum development. I have had the privilege of working with elementary, middle and high school students, teaching science and coaching robotics for the past 15 years. I use many hands-on activities to teach science concepts, along with teaching with board games.

Additional biographical information

My name is Crystal Osborn, and I currently teach 6th-8th science at a Private School. Prior to that I was the Elementary Science Coordinator, 4th and 5th grade science teacher and 4th and 5th grade robotics and coding coach at a small, rural elementary in Texas. I have coordinated Elementary Science Fair and Family Science Night throughout my career to get more students and families interested in science and STEM related fields. Before becoming a teacher, I worked in animal research in a university setting, assisting graduate students in the agriculture and science fields complete their research projects. Upon receiving my teaching certification, I worked for 2 years at a Juvenile Detention Center. I taught elementary for 12 years, and just recently moved to a middle school position.
