Experience

Built differently. Taught intentionally. I've been in the elementary classroom for sixteen years and I'm the creator behind Wired with Purpose. I design resources for neurodiverse learners that are pratical, low prep, and rooted in real classroom experience, because every student deserves to feel successful.

Teaching style

My teaching style is rooted in intentional, student-centered instruction that supports how learners process information. I focus on breaking down skills, reducing stress, and building confidence, especially for neurodiverse students. My reasoures are structured, low-prep, and designed to create meaningful progress without frustration.

My own education history

I have a strong foundation in education, earning my Bachelor of Science in Education from Saint Catharine College and my Master of Education as a Literacy Specialist from University of the Cumberlands. These experiences and my sixteen years in an elementary classroom have equipped me with the knowledge and skill set to support diverse learners across the curriculum.

Additional biographical information

In addition to my professional experience, I am also a mom to my two neurodiverse chilren, coupled with my own neurodivergent perspective, I bring both personal understanding and lived experiences in the work that I do. I am married to my wonderful husband, Dusty, who works for the Department of Child Services. These unique experiences have given me insight and helped shape my approach, allowing me to create resources that are not only effective in theory, but meaningful and pratical for real families and classrooms.
