Commutative Property of Multiplication-Great for individual, center or small group work.
Students draw a domino and make a multiplication number out of the two numbers on the domino, then shows the problem by making an array or picture of groups.
Then the students makes the commutative property of the multiplication problem with an array or group illustration.

Teaching style
I am a true believer in multiple teaching styles in the classroom. I always start in a whole group lesson then differentiate through my small group, independent work and centers. I love to teach using visual aids, hands on, songs...well seriously I will stand on my head and juggle if it gets the job done! My last biggie is making it FUN and making it MEANINGFUL. If my students can make a connection they will remember and retain.

I am currently a 4th-grade teacher in Tulsa, OK. I graduated from Oklahoma State University (GO POKES!) with a degree in Early Childhood Education. I am also certified to teach Upper Elementary and Middle school. I have been teaching for 20 years and have taught everything from Pre-K through 4th, but my love remains in 3rd grade. I married my high school sweetie, and we have 3 TOTALLY AWESOME kiddos."R1," who just turned 14 yrs. and "R2" who is 11 yrs old and "R3" who is 7 years old. I am one blessed and lucky gal!
