Teaching style
I am a true believer in multiple teaching styles in the classroom. I always start in a whole group lesson then differentiate through my small group, independent work and centers. I love to teach using visual aids, hands on, songs...well seriously I will stand on my head and juggle if it gets the job done! My last biggie is making it FUN and making it MEANINGFUL. If my students can make a connection they will remember and retain.

I am currently a 4th-grade teacher in Tulsa, OK. I graduated from Oklahoma State University (GO POKES!) with a degree in Early Childhood Education. I am also certified to teach Upper Elementary and Middle school. I have been teaching for 20 years and have taught everything from Pre-K through 4th, but my love remains in 3rd grade. I married my high school sweetie, and we have 3 TOTALLY AWESOME kiddos."R1," who just turned 14 yrs. and "R2" who is 11 yrs old and "R3" who is 7 years old. I am one blessed and lucky gal!
