About the store
I have 10+ years of teaching experience. Currently, I own my own private tutoring business focusing on teaching mathematics. While teaching a course, Further Pure Mathematics, I realized that the textbook was simply not giving students what they needed to succeed, and I, as a teacher, needed clear instructional tools to guide my students. I spend countless hours designing step-by-step math lessons and activities to support students and educators, whether inside the classroom or at home! Teaching style

My approach to teaching advanced mathematics is structured and student-centered. I begin by breaking down complex concepts into clear, manageable steps with easy-to-follow explanations. This explicit instruction ensures that students build a solid understanding before moving forward. Next, I guide students through practice problems alongside them, offering support and encouragement to build their confidence. This collaborative phase helps students apply new knowledge in a safe environment. Finally, I encourage independent problem-solving to strengthen mastery and foster critical thinking skills. My goal is to empower students to become confident, self-sufficient learners who can tackle challenging math problems with ease.

My own education history

I have a Bachelor of Arts [Psychology Major] from Saint Mary's University and a Bachelor of Education from Queen's University.
