Experience

This is my 10th year of teaching. I taught three years of sixth grade special education, two years of first grade, one year of kindergarten, and I have been teaching elementary special education for the past three years. I have taught special education in second, third, and fourth grade. I am currently working with kindergarten and fifth grade. I love creating my own products to see what my students know.

My own education history

I knew since I was in 4th grade that I wanted to be a teacher. My fourth grade teacher inspired me to go into teaching and I am so happy I did! I graduated with my teaching degree in 2013, started long term subbing, and got my first teaching job in 2016 teaching special education. I then went back to school to get my special ed degree. I never knew I wanted to be a special education teacher until I was a long term sub and that's when I knew it was what I was meant to do. Not only being a teacher but being a special ed teacher.

Additional biographical information

I LOVE creating materials for my students that are at their level and watching them soar. I love being creative and making the activity fun for my students.
