About the store
Hey there! We’re the dynamic duo behind this TPT shop — a seasoned Speech-Language Pathologist and a Middle School Math Teacher, teaming up to bring you resources that are equal parts functional, fabulous, and funny. Speechie Sidekick: I’ve been an SLP for 13 years and have worked with everyone from 12-month-old toddlers to 98-year-old legends (yes, really). I’ve tackled everything from first words to final consonants — and just about every sound in between. But my heart beats loudest for the elementary crowd — where sticky fingers, silly giggles, and speech sound breakthroughs reign supreme. Math Whiz & Artsy Fartsy Queen: I’ve been wrangling middle schoolers and their math mayhem for 18 years. I’m the artsy fartsy half of this team — the one with an eye for design, a passion for color-coded spreadsheets, and a firm belief that anchor charts should be bold, lessons should have flair, and every worksheet deserves a little pizazz. Basically, color-coding is my love language, and I’m not afraid to use it. Together, we create speech therapy + educational resources that are engaging, effective, and occasionally coffee-stained (because #teacherlife). If you love low-prep, high-impact, and a touch of sass, you’re in the right place! Thanks for stopping by — now go rock that therapy room or classroom like the teaching superhero you are.

Teaching style

At the heart of everything we do is one simple truth: relationships drive our teaching. We believe students learn best when they feel seen, supported, and safe to make mistakes. Whether it’s their very first day in Pre-K or they’re navigating the rollercoaster of puberty, we’re there to cheer them on, wipe the metaphorical (and sometimes literal) tears, and help them grow — academically and emotionally. We don’t just teach skills — we build confidence, resilience, and connection along the way.

Awards & shining teacher moments

Our Math Whiz & Artsy Fartsy Queen isn’t just a nickname — it’s a well-earned title. She’s been nominated for Teacher of the Year 10 times and has proudly taken home the honor four times (yes, FOUR!). From creating math notebooks to building relationships with middle schoolers (no easy feat), she’s truly phenomenal at what she does. She brings heart, humor, and high standards to every lesson — and just enough flair to make math feel like magic.

My own education history

Speechie Sidekick earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Arkansas — and yes, she still proudly calls the Hogs. Once a Razorback, always a Razorback! She went on to get her Master’s from Northeastern State University, where her love for communication (and caffeine) truly hit graduate-level status. Our Math Whiz took a different route — and a different continent. She earned her degrees across the sea, bringing an international perspective to her classroom along with her signature creativity, wisdom, and next-level organization skills.
