Hi there! I’m an Aussie teacher with a heart for the early years and a serious love of picture books, messy hands-on learning, and seeing those aha! moments light up a child’s face.
I started teaching in 2005 in Abu Dhabi, where I taught everything from KG1 and KG2 to Grade 1 and 2. After returning to Australia in 2014, I decided to dive into my own learning and completed a Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood & Primary), followed by a Master of Education in Management, Leadership, and Student Wellbeing.

I’m all about foundational skills, big smiles, and making learning stick in fun and meaningful ways. Whether it’s through literacy games, sensory activities, or simple visuals that actually help, I want resources that work for real-life classrooms — where no day is the same and your coffee always goes cold.

Honestly, my biggest wins are the moments when a child reads a word for the first time, writes their name with pride, or suddenly gets a tricky maths concept they’ve been stuck on. That’s the magic I live for.

During my Masters, I worked as a CRT and got to see a lot of classrooms — and a lot of gaps, especially after COVID. I was part of the tutoring initiative and kept seeing the same struggles in literacy and numeracy. That’s what sparked my deep-dive into foundational teaching: if students can’t read or write confidently, they’ll struggle everywhere else.
Now, I pour that passion into creating resources that help early years teachers build strong foundations without losing their minds (or their weekends).
