I am a dedicated and detail-oriented educator with over 7 years of professional experience working with students from PreK through 8th grade. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and am currently advancing my skills by pursuing a Master of Education in Instructional Technology. This combination fuels my passion for creating innovative and effective learning resources that meet diverse student needs.
My practical experience includes working as both a homeroom teacher and a paraprofessional, where I independently teach grade-level math, run small groups at varying skill levels, and collaborate effectively with multiple teachers and administrators to support student success. I also served as a Tier 3 Differentiated Instruction (DI) instructor, leading targeted skill groups in literacy and fluency for grades 2 through 5. In addition, I teach STEAM lessons at a local non-profit, integrating Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics for K-5 students with hands-on learning tied to real-world events and careers.
Beyond classroom instruction, I have coordinated multiple Awards Day ceremonies and developed strong skills in student advocacy, classroom management, and collaborative planning. I am proficient in technology tools such as Google Classroom, Zoom, Microsoft Office, and coding basics, which I integrate into my lessons to enhance engagement and learning outcomes.
With a passion for pushing student potential and a commitment to ongoing professional growth, I strive to create educational materials that empower both teachers and students. I look forward to sharing resources that bring creativity, clarity, and effectiveness to your classroom.
