I used these in my class for years. When a task was completed or a behaviour exhibited, I would hole punch a happy face out. When a threshold or all of the faces had been taken out I would reward the child with something they were working towards or a class surprise.
Not all skeletons are easily identified. Have students look at the skeletons of animals and guess which animals they are. Some are easy, some are impossible. It is really interesting where students assess features of a skeleton to give clues for what animal it is.
