Teaching style

I believe that students respond best to "as-if" learning. For example, if you want students to learn science, treat them as-if the actually were scientists; create authentic performance tasks with real life excitement. For TeachersPayTeachers, I have created a series of podcasts of dramatic readings of classic Literature. These readings have been used by classrooms throughout America. It helps that I'm an actor and a teacher, and it helps that I used to do voices for cartoons--like Scooby Doo and Teenage Ninja Turtles!(For a list of my professional acting and writing credits:http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0106257/)

My own education history
