Along with developing small group lessons targeting the needs of struggling readers, I also provide classroom teachers with interventions and strategies that support their learners.

Weather Graph/Calendar Weather Graph

This sheet can be used during the daily calendar; students can color in the weather for that day. I printed out one for each month, and we were able to compare the weather for two months. Visually appealing for younger grades, easy to color. This calendar can be given to students to complete as well. *************************************************************************** Let's connect!! My blog Facebook Instagram Pinterest Bloglovin'

Teaching style

I believe that the teachers have a very challenging job, addressing the academic, social, and emotional needs of children and guiding them towards independence. Best Practices in Teaching: *Social-Emotional Learning & strong teacher-student relationships *Growth Mindset *Science of Reading: direct, explicit, cumulative, multi-sensory phonics instruction & knowledge-building activities *Differentiated & Scaffolded Instruction: Meeting students where they are and providing supports as necessary I am constantly growing and learning about how kids learn best!

Additional biographical information

I love teaching children and how much they teach me. I could do without the rest of the nonsense. I work with the most caring, creative, and innovative educators who have helped me grow as a teacher. I am making a valiant effort to chronicle my teacher "adventures" and ideas in this blog: https://workshopclassroom.blogspot.com. I *love* creating resources that help you and your students! Please leave me a rating or feedback so I can make adjustments as needed!
