I've been doing the teaching thing for 20+ years (what!) in all kinds of different positions: computer teacher, academic support/Title I, first grade teacher, and mostly as a reading interventionist in grades K-5. Along with developing small group lessons targeting the needs of struggling readers, I also provide classroom teachers with interventions and strategies that support their learners.

Character Traits List by Categories
*List of character traits, organized by general categories. Weather Graph/Calendar Weather Graph
This sheet can be used during the daily calendar; students can color in the weather for that day. I printed out one for each month, and we were able to compare the weather for two months. Visually appealing for younger grades, easy to color. This calendar can be given to students to complete as well.

Reading Stamina --Minutes Read in Class Poster
This is a great way to keep track of the number of minutes you've been reading independently in class and to motivate students to focus more on their independent reading. There's also posters for number of minutes of writing independently. I printed mine out on white cardstock and laminated it so I could write the number of minutes with a dry erase marker. There are two types of fonts, one for a primary classroom, and one for the upper grades. The posters come in red, blue, yellow, and green

Teacher Postcards -- includes Distance & Remote Learning
A sweet way to keep in touch with students, especially during distance/remote learning! They will be excited to receive mail from you and know that you're thinking of them. There are color and printer-friendly options. Two postcards of just saying hello and one postcard wishing students a happy birthday. After reading about some unfavorable perceptions and negative experiences with reading logs, I decided to create ones that were optional and non-threatening for students in the upper elementary grades. They are designed to be simple and inviting for the students to just record their summer reading with no parental involvement.
