Teaching style

I believe that the teachers have a very challenging job, addressing the academic, social, and emotional needs of children and guiding them towards independence. Best Practices in Teaching: *Social-Emotional Learning & strong teacher-student relationships *Growth Mindset *Science of Reading: direct, explicit, cumulative, multi-sensory phonics instruction & knowledge-building activities *Differentiated & Scaffolded Instruction: Meeting students where they are and providing supports as necessary I am constantly growing and learning about how kids learn best!

Additional biographical information

I love teaching children and how much they teach me. I could do without the rest of the nonsense. I work with the most caring, creative, and innovative educators who have helped me grow as a teacher. I am making a valiant effort to chronicle my teacher "adventures" and ideas in this blog: https://workshopclassroom.blogspot.com. I *love* creating resources that help you and your students! Please leave me a rating or feedback so I can make adjustments as needed!
