I've been doing the teaching thing for 20+ years (what!) in all kinds of different positions: computer teacher, academic support/Title I, first grade teacher, and mostly as a reading interventionist in grades K-5. Teaching style
I believe that the teachers have a very challenging job, addressing the academic, social, and emotional needs of children and guiding them towards independence.
