I'm Jill, the innovator behind Worldview Education. With over 30 years as a teacher in underserved schools, I've focused my work on literacy, and creating resources that teach students and adults how to read but also focusing on engaging them with books, and print that represent positive and inspiring "mirrors and windows", culture and interests. I start with choosing books that represent diversity in culture, background and interests. I choose books with engaging stories and lots of vocabulary words. I create high quality and engaging resources from books for any/all - teachers, parents, students, homeschoolers and Microschoolers, etc. Our book selections (authors) provide a rich landscape of story-telling that stays with readers long after reading. Our lessons and resources are not usually grade-level specific and explores social emotional learning and universal themes. Remember, "the reach should always exceed the grasp."
