This is a quick lesson to go over Noodle tools and how to cite information. This is a PDF that can be used for teaching Loops to students who are new to Python Programming. This is a fun lesson as it will use Turtle and allow students to draw shapes and a car using loops. While doing so they will get a hang of the syntax needed for Python as well as a chance the experiment with the code to make their own shapes. This is great for first time Computer Science Teachers who are looking for a python coding lesson plan! *******************************************************

Experience

Spent over five years as an IT System Administrator. Always thought that I wanted to be a Social Studies Teacher. Got my first job as a Instructional Technology Specialist and love it!

Teaching style

I try to help students learn cooperatively by running through examples and demonstrations in front of the class that are led by me that also involve students. After demonstrations students are told that they need to ask their neighbors how to do something before they raise their hand and ask the teacher.
