About the store
I taught for ten years in a public high school and one year in a private Christian school for special needs students. I have partnered with my wife in homeschool our four children. I am currently the administrator for the Centerville Homeschool Academy, which provides supplemental instruction to homeschoolers in our area. I have taught literature, composition, and economics in that program for almost twenty years. I am also the founder and president of WriteAtHome.com, an online program providing writing education for homeschooled teens around the world.

My own education history

I graduated with honors from high school in 1984. I served as student body president my senior year and finished with a GPA in the top two percent of my graduating class. I graduated from the University of Virginia with a BA in English and a Virginia teaching certificate in 1988.
