Hi! I’m the creator of Writing Bridges, where I design practical teaching resources that help secondary educators streamline instruction while maintaining rigor in the classroom.
I’m a high school English teacher with a B.A. and M.A. in Creative Writing and an Ed.S. in Secondary English Education, along with a leadership certification. I currently serve as a yearbook advisor and have worked extensively with student publications, bringing authentic writing experiences into my classroom.
My work focuses on scaffolded writing instruction and practical teaching systems that help students bridge the gap between knowing what they want to say and knowing how to say it.
As artificial intelligence tools become more common in education, I believe teachers should feel empowered—not overwhelmed—by these technologies. Many of my resources help teachers use AI thoughtfully to support lesson planning, writing instruction, assessment, and differentiation while still maintaining professional judgment.
Every Writing Bridges resource is designed with the realities of secondary classrooms in mind. Materials are clear, structured, and classroom-tested, with built-in scaffolds that support diverse learners without lowering expectations.
Whether you're looking for writing assignments, instructional frameworks, or tools that help integrate AI into your workflow, Writing Bridges is designed to make teaching more manageable, purposeful, and effective.
