When learning how to manipulate larger numbers, students benefit from graph paper to line up their place value and visually see how the numbers align. Large squares make up this graph paper, with the intention of using it with a clear writing tablet (such as a SmartPal) and a dry-erase marker. Students will enjoy the practice of math computations by being able to write with a marker and to have the numbers line up neatly. Two options: 1) Light gray lines 2) Dark gray lines
Your students will use this template to create 3D hearts full of fraction information as it relates to them! What fraction of the students' family is children vs adults? What fraction of their name is vowels vs consonants? Etc.
Blank fraction strips for students, teacher, or whole class to fill in. Useful for equivalent fractions. Students create their own fraction strips, increasing understanding of fractions.
A math graphic organizer created to be used with a SmartPal. Can also be used digitally on iPads for students to show work if desired. Includes the steps for students to solve from beginning to end. Encourages students to learn and practice the many steps of adding or subtracting fractions. Great for visual learners or any students needing accommodations.
Keyboarding is an important skill today, especially for grades 3-5! This graph helps your students to keep track of their typing speed, encouraging more practice and determination! Students can write the date of their typing speed on the X axis, and graph their speed using the y axis (skip counting by 2s). These are great for data folders, Student-Led Conferences, and just real-life graphing skills!

Factor Rainbows made fun during November by coloring the turkey feathers to match the factors that make the product on the Pilgrim hat :) Kids have fun with this activity! Each turkey has the amount of tailfeathers needed to know how many factors their product needs. This also helps students understand that if it's a square number, the factor is only listed once (only one feather, colored one color, as a visual reminder for students). A great, easy, but mathematical activity for November and Th

Place Value understanding is crucial to math success! This place value chart goes from the ten thousandths place to the hundred billions place! The decimal is left as a neutral area with the word AND in parenthesis as a friendly reminder for students not to say "dot" or "point" but AND to represent the decimal. The colors are helpful for students to understand each period (set) of number values. Great for visual learners, reluctant learners, and students with math anxiety. This was create
A thorough understanding of the patterns in a hundred chart is CRUCIAL for math success through elementary. This page was created to be used with a SmartPal or other clear writing tablet. Students (or teachers) can fill in one, two, or multiple numbers in the empty spaces. Students have to use their knowledge of the hundreds chart to determine what number goes in the remaining boxes.
