An inference accompaniment to the book The Stranger by Chris Van Allsburg.

This is a packet of rigorous questions that correspond with the Magic Tree House Fact Tracker: Space nonfiction chapter book. This can be used for small group independent work in upper elementary for lower level students or as stations for on grade level students in the lower elementary grades. The book is a level M guided reading level.

This novel correlates well with the beginning of Virginia Studies and the travel from England to the Virginia colony. As a historical fiction novel, there are so many opportunities to be cross curricular. This is a rigorous packet with short answer questions to guide reading in a small group, but it could also be used whole group as well!
