This is a web quest that I did with my sixth graders a few years ago. I created this a long time ago, but it's just to give you a small preview of some of my work. It's a simple, interactive web quest for physical and chemical changes.

I am an Intervention Specialist and I'm always in need of different exit slips. This contains two pages of exit slips that I print out and cut for my students. The first page is Thanksgiving themed and the second is generic. I have used these before and find them helpful.

About the store

Experience

I have taught in Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana schools. I am a certified Intervention Specialist and Middle Grades Science Teacher.

Teaching style

I believe in Inquiry education and teaching students the right questions to ask. I love getting students excited about science. In the middle school grades, exciting students about science is by far my number one tool. I also use technology to its fullest extent. It's what students are using these days and it's important to stay one step ahead of them, so that they are still learning.

Awards & shining teacher moments

I graduated college Summa Cum Laude and received an award for most outstanding graduate in my field. I also received scholarships for college based on academic excellence and community involvement.

My own education history

I have my Associate degree in education and my Bachelor degree in special education and middle grades science. I ended up with a 4.0 in my major.

Additional biographical information

I am always looking for new ways to teach and learn the latest trends. In my spare time I like to read, run, and tutor.
