Experience

Over 20 years as owner of tutorial services in New York City and Metro Atlanta specializing in math. Writer and publisher of math study guides and reference texts since 1988. Primary writer and content developer of MathDBase Project, an upcoming knowledge base website that will offer comprehensive course information, hundreds of thousands of solved problems, interactive custom structured online courses, in-home tutoring, on-site problem queries, extensive tables of formulas and many other resources for math students from middle school through the junior level college math courses.

Teaching style

MathDBase Project was conceived to provide as many resources as possible to anyone who aspires to a career that is in any way math-based. Whether that career is mathematician, statistician, actuary, computer scientist, physicist, chemist, engineer, teacher, pharmacist, doctor, geologist, or in any other field; we feel that no capable student who works hard and puts the time in should be “weeded out.” We will provide resources for students from Middle School through the typical sophomore-junior level college math courses including: Developmental Mathematics, which is what we are calling any mathematics before Algebra, Algebra (all), Plane and Solid Geometry, with proofs, Trigonometry, Analytic Geometry, Calculus (through vector analysis), Linear Algebra and Ordinary Differential Equations. Our goal is to make the knowledge base as comprehensive as possible. Any topic that is likely to occur in a course will be included, and any that may have been overlooked will, upon notification, be thoroughly researched and included as soon as possible.
