I struggled for a while to appropriately meet my students' needs with spelling. My class represented such a range of spelling stages, I had to differentiate! So I created this set of spelling word lists, based on spelling patterns, to quickly and easily differentiate my spelling.

Teaching style
I prefer to provide my students with activities and experiences that lead them towards discovery of new information. My students work collaboratively in pairs and small groups most of the time. This way, their learning is more authentic.
My own education history
I graduated from Oklahoma State University with a degree in Early Childhood Education. Go Pokes!
Additional biographical information
I love the great outdoors! I love teaching my kids about other places in the world, and about life outside our school. It's the best part of teaching!
