I have loved every second surviving 6 years in third grade, 4 years in 1st grade, and I am battling it out in 4th grade for my 5th year in a row! I consider my profession and job a blessing, a necessity, and an absolute blast!
Quick sorting activity designed to help students distinguish the difference between a watermelon writing idea vs. a zoomed in and more focused seed idea. Students will also pair up a watermelon idea with a more potent and focused seed to begin distinguishing the difference before diving into their own narratives! PowerPoint or Smart Notebook required!
Students can use this four square writing template to plan their expository writing. The color coding with stars and bars provides a visual clue to assist their writing preparations. This template will print on 11" x 17" paper.
This template can be used to track student's reading minutes at home! They can also track if they are reading to self, to someone, or listening to reading!
