I created this document for my students to practice using magic e words in sentences. There's 2 worksheets with 6 different magic e words on each one. The students must choose 4 to pout into sentences, and I always put a picture box when I can because students are a lot more motivated to write a sentence when they get to draw a picture of it too. I created this document when I realized how scarce the current Science curriculum is with actual exposure to real life experiences. This is a fun activity my students have loved every year. They each will draw their shadows from two different times in the day, then write about how they looked at the time drawn vs how they've changed. Hope it helps!

This is a 3 question assignment of word problems within 10,000. I did summer tutoring and used this when working with my 4th and 5th graders. This activity is good for all ages, 2nd gifted up to remedial any grade! These are the sub plans I've used for years (essentially)!! The times and subjects included are from when I first started teaching, but you are able to fully edit and rearrange it as needed. I created these cards to use in stations because you can use them with any strategy taught. There is a set of addition and subtraction equations within 10 and a set of addition and subtraction equations within 20. (within tens is red, within 20s is magenta) I've used these equation cards with number lines, tens frames, drawing ones. You can use them for just about any 'naked number' equation units, which help for the next step, word problems!! Hope it helps!
