A former Associate Producer with the CBS News broadcast 48 Hours Investigates, I earned a Masters of Education in 2005. In that same year, I received the Guilford County Rookie Teacher of Year award for my innovative instructional strategies. Today, I promote student-centered learning for the online classroom, juxtaposing the latest web technologies with pedagogical best practices.

Sometimes the temperature can be confusing. To help clear up this conundrum, students determine which temperature is warmer by converting them from Celsius to Fahrenheit (or the other way around). A paper thermometer is provided for helping students check their answers.
