About the store
I’ve worked in daycare centers, clinical programs, and inner-city classrooms, supporting students with disabilities. I’ve taught in DD and MID programs, built behaviour plans, and led life skills rooms grounded in calm, structure, and trust. As a Special Education Specialist in Ontario and a BCBA candidate, I create tools that help students feel safe, regulated, and proud of their accomplishments, one skill at a time.

Experience

I’ve worked in daycare centers, clinical programs, and inner-city classrooms, supporting students with disabilities. I’ve taught in DD and MID programs, built behaviour plans, and led life skills rooms grounded in calm, structure, and trust. As a Special Education Specialist in Ontario and a BCBA candidate, I create tools that help students feel safe, regulated, and proud of their accomplishments, one skill at a time.

Teaching style

I don’t teach from the assumption that students are broken or behind. I teach from the truth that they are already whole and that it’s our job to meet them with structure, not shame. That belief drives everything I do. My classroom, my practice, and my advocacy are built on the idea that students can feel calm when they are first allowed to feel safe. I believe in teaching calm as a skill. I believe in boundaries that hold, routines that regulate, and visuals that give students a way in, not a way out.
