Teaching style
Small groups and individualized attention is the best way we all learn, so I teach small groups and give a lot of individualized attention. This is why I love centers for literacy and math!
My own education history
My elementary and high school education all happened in Venezuela: Christensen Academy, and completed my undergrad degree at Trinity College. My MA is in Education-ESL/Bilingual from Governors State University, and I have a Reading Endorsement from Lewis University.
Additional biographical information
I am an ex-pat, born and raised in a missionary family in Venezuela. Growing up in Venezuela was how I became bilingual, biliterate and bicultural. My work began in Venezuela as an EFL teacher, which brought me to the USA to become a Bilingual/Dual Language Teacher. I love Jesus, and my goal is to please him in all I do! Blessings!
