Experience

I am entering my 4th year as a K-6 Special Education Resource teacher. I also taught a 4/5 combo class in a high need district. Prior to becoming a teacher, I was a Sign-Language Interpreter in schools (pre-K to 12th grade). Teaching style

Everything that I do is in small groups. I love to use interactive notebooks so that students can keep them in their classroom as a resource to refer to. I believe that relationships are the key to teaching and learning so I spend time with each student building that relationship with each student.
