My own education history
A rigorous classical education pushed me to develop excellent study skills, and prepared me well to homeschool my children and helped me earn my B.S. in Liberal Arts. I’ve been both a traditional and online learner myself, and I bring that experience to every course and material I offer. As a long-time educator, coach, and homeschooling parent of over two decades, I know firsthand how overwhelming school can feel for parents whether your student is in public school or learning at home, in high school or in college. Now I coach and create lessons about study skills, life skills, and ELA. I’ve spent three decades working with students and families in education, childcare, and student development. I've also published a neurodivergent friendly planner that helps students learn and practice executive functioning skills and prioritize their work. Please use these lessons to create smooth school days!
