With 22 years of experience in education, my passion for teaching and connecting with students has only grown stronger. I began my career as a French teacher for Grades 1 through 8, and for the past two decades, I’ve proudly taught Grade 6 and worked as a dedicated junior teacher.

Teaching style
I’m passionate about making learning fun and engaging—no matter the age or grade level. I believe that when we turn curriculum expectations into interactive games and hands-on activities, learning becomes more meaningful and enjoyable for both students and teachers. In my classroom and in this store, the goal is always the same: to inspire curiosity, spark creativity, and keep students excited to learn.
My own education history
After finishing my teaching degree here in Ontario, I started out as a Core French teacher, working with kids from Grades 1 to 8. It was a great learning experience, but teaching in short 40-minute blocks made it tough to really get to know the students or celebrate their growth.
Two years later, I moved into a Grade 6 classroom, and that’s when everything clicked. I finally got to spend the whole day with the same group of students—and I absolutely loved it. The connection, the consistency, the laughs… it was exactly what I needed.
Now, almost 22 years later, I’m still teaching Grade 6 and still loving it. The resources you’ll find in ZoieGsClassroom are inspired by my time in the classroom—things I’ve created to keep learning fun, engaging, and meaningful for both teachers and students.
Additional biographical information
I’ve always loved turning lessons into fun activities and games—it makes learning so much more enjoyable for kids (and for me too!). It’s something I did often with my own two children during their early learning years, and it’s a big part of the resources I sell from this shop.
