Experience

I have been teaching Spanish for 20 years. I have taught college, high school and middle school and have been in middle school for the last 13 years.

Teaching style

I am a communicative language teacher that focuses on proficiency. My classes use a variety of techniques that fall under the Comprehensible Input umbrella.

My own education history

Undergraduate degree in Spanish and Education from Douglass College/Rutgers University. Study abroad at the Universidad de Valencia. Masters degree in language and literature from Middlebury College Study abroad in Madrid with Middlebury College.

Additional biographical information

I am a wife, mom of 5 and an animal lover. I live in Connecticut with my family and love being with them and experiencing the adventures that a family of 7 can find themselves involved in.
