The aim is for students to create as many number sentences as they can using the numbers provided. Each number can only be used once in a sum. Unlike Boggle, the numbers do not need to be touching. This allows for more combinations to be found.
These games were designed to practise addition and subtraction skills, however multiplication and division facts can also be found.

Boggle & Noggle
Boggle and Noggle are great activities for literacy centers, math centers, or early finishers! These activities help students with problem solving, high order thinking, and they fill time meaningfully!
Print and laminate the recording sheets, letter cards, and number cards to save paper and use repeatedly. I print Boggle and Noggle recording sheets back-to-back and students keep laminated copies in their desks. They write answers with dry erase markers and erase when it’s time for a new board!
