Are you ready to teach Fractions? Here are some great task cards for you. There are 60 task cards. These are aligned to SBAC and use the Smarter Balanced Item Specs. There are 10 skills related to third grade fractions on the Smarter Balanced test and I have written cards to cover all 10 skills. The cards have diagrams, number lines, and pictures just like the end of the year summative exam. These task cards work equally well with the PARCC assessment based on the released items.

You will get great data and information about which of your kids need a little more help in learning about fractions. An answer key is provided.

Not sure how to use task cards? There are several great articles on the internet. Search, “ways to use task cards”.

The files are in a zip folder one is a Word document and the other is a PDF. You are free to edit the Word document and make necessary changes to teach your precious children. You could also make multiple versions for yourself if you wish.
