I'll bet you have. Well, I decided to gather up some interesting formulas that could be used to show students some of the unusual places that equations/formulas show up.
This is an introductory list of 7 of those formulas. If you like this list, check out my other list of 47 formulas.

You may choose to use these as a reference, or you could use them as a group activity. For example, you could put the students in small groups and have them manipulate the equations by solving for a different variable.
