Do your kids need more practice with Real Numbers and Pythagorean Theorem? This set of task cards is designed for 8th Grade Big Ideas Chapter 9 (Common Core/Modeling Real Life) but are also very good for reviewing any curriculum for the End of the Year Summative test.

This set of 160 task cards has the task models used to assess: 8.NS.A.1, 8.NS.A.2, 8.EE.A.2, 8.G.B.7, and 8.G.B.8. This set of cards contains a wide variety of problems. You can use these task cards anytime to help your kids prepare for any summative test or just extra practice before the chapter test. This will give you lots of problems for intervention. An answer key is included.

I have saved you LOTS of time by creating all of the problems and graphics. These are formatted for quick printing. This is a Word Document, and you are free to edit and make necessary changes to teach your precious children.

I have also included a PDF version, which is not editable, but will open on a Chromebook or any other machine that doesn’t have Microsoft Word.

Task Cards can be used to play: Scoot, Write the Room, Fast Finishers, Scavenger Hunt, Math Tub/Station, Review, Morning Work/Entry Task, with any board game (Correct roll a die and move forward, incorrect lose the turn), Or Extra Practice as a worksheet. There are lots of other uses for Task Cards. Do an internet search, “ways to use task cards”.
