Description
Absolute value worksheets are extra engaging when coloring is involved! This set of easy-prep color by number activities with 2 print and 2 digital versions offers perfect practice for your students!
- Students answer 20 questions in each version, find the solution number on the coloring page and color!
- Students will immediately know whether or not they solved correctly - if their answer is incorrect, they won't find it on the coloring sheet!
Check out the Preview above to see how the digital versions work (students will need to know how to use the "Fill color" feature).
These absolute value problems address 6th grade math CC standards and require students to:
- Find absolute value
- Compare absolute values
- Evaluate expressions with absolute value
With this absolute value color by number, you get:
1) Two different print versions, A and B:
- 20 problems in each version
- Problems in the versions are the same type but use different numbers
- Different color patterns in the versions
2) Links to 2 Slides versions, A and B
- These versions are the same problems as the print versions, with slightly different coloring patterns
- Instructions for digital
3) Answer Keys
4) A coloring page without numbers, for students to color in their own way or create their own color by number activities!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️This resource is also part of the Absolute Value Notes & Activities Bundle, along with Math Wheel notes for teaching absolute value, an absolute value game, and more!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"Loved this resource! I gave it to my 6th and 7th grade Pre-algebra classes as an extra review since they were having a hard time understanding absolute values. Excellent questions, no prep, and self-explanatory. Only took them a class period to do, including the coloring (~40 minutes). It was nice that this resource included 2 different versions. I gave one to each class."
