This is a PowerPoint Presentation to assist students in learning about adding integers using manipulatives and number lines. Great introduction to adding integers! The "manipulative" part of this resource is designed to be used with red and white counter chips, but any two-color counters or other manipulatives will work just fine!
The PowerPoint includes the steps to adding integers using the two-color counters and number lines, various examples, and two word problems to help students connect the skill to real-life. The presentation also comes fully animated, with animations triggered by mouse click (or presentation pointer)!
