This resource contains 24 task cards that involve students adding and subtracting rational expressions. It also includes a student recording sheet. Problems at lower numbered task cards are a bit easier than the higher numbered ones. For example, problems at the beginning of the resource ask students to add and subtract rational expressions that have a common denominator. This will not be true in later problems. Furthermore, in some problems, students may have to factor prior to being able to find a common denominator.
