Description

This resource contains 24 task cards that involve students solving absolute value inequalities. The questions at the beginning tend to be a little bit easier. Few "algebraic moves" have to be made for the students to solve the problems. The later questions are a little bit more challenging with students having to make multiple "algebraic moves." This resource also includes a "Student Recording Sheet" for their answers and a "Now Graph It" sheet for students to graph their answers.

This resource would be great to use for daily warm-ups, exit tickets, stations, or SCOOT.

I use this resource as part of my spiral review and end of year review for the state exam. My students like using task cards because there are a lot of different ways to use them in class.

Love, love, love these task cards. They were challenging - but not overwhelming - for my students. My class needed two 45-minute classes to finish all of them.

I used this as a partner activity. Students enjoy being out of their seats and moving around the room. Let them work with a partner and they feel like they've won the lottery!
