Description
High quality A through Z alphabet practice set focusing on the Beginning Sound practice. More than 250 cute graphics will help your students form the correct and solid letter-sound associations, review and strengthen the beginning sound skills.
Review the letter, work as a group pronouncing the words and identifying the beginning sounds, dot or color the objects that fit, finally trace the letter to practice one more skill.
Feel free to choose the way to identify the correct object - dotting is perfect for younger kids, coloring - for older ones; you can also choose to circle or cross out the pictures.
Small notes:
- Not all the pictures on the page belong to the letter. There will be odd ones on most pages. This is done to avoid students dotting all the pictures on a page without actually identifying the beginning sound (especially if working independently)
- The 'odd' pictures (that do not belong) are deliberately very different from the sound this page is devoted to. This is done to avoid any confusion or misreading
- There is a list of words that are supposed to be chosen (under the letter image) - to help the teacher identify the pictures correctly (for example, the picture of 'rain' can be read as 'rain' and as a 'cloud'; the picture of a 'rose' can be called a 'flower', etc)
- Letter X is represented by both beginning and ending sounds
