Description

How to find vertical and horizontal asymptote is an interactive matching activity for students to practice finding asymptotes. Students find the horizontal and vertical asymptotes of six functions algebraically and match each to the correct graph of the function. This activity can be used in a variety of ways including as an interactive notebook page, class pairs activity, homework assignment, or individual assessment of student understanding.

This was a great introductory activity to asymptotes for my students. I also liked that it was set up in a way that made it hard to work backwards by just glancing at matching numbers.
