This AVID resource is a PDF and Google Slides (editable). The PDF is not editable. It is the same resource in 2 formats.
The first 4 TRF samples are "real world" riddles that students need to write pertinent questions to in order to get the answer. (Answers are included.) The fifth TRF is the students thinking about their lives and creating a question that will invoke conversation about what issues they may have right now. There are summary questions for a reflection included for this one. There is a slide with Costa's levels of questioning to help spark ideas to begin their questions. There are also examples of some of the sections of the TRF for the first 4 TRF riddles. The last 2 pages are a blank TRF if you want to use it for other tutorials in your class. This is a PDF so you are printing/copying it. The interactive Google Slides version is 27 slides with the questions spaced out. This PDF version has the same content but is condensed so it is easier to print.
