Classifying triangles notes are so engaging with the Triangles Math Wheel! Once notes are complete, use the print and digital (self-checking) task cards for some engaging and versatile triangle concepts practice!

The easy-prep print version of Types of Triangles Footloose includes:
- 30 Footloose task cards (set with a background and a set without)
- Footloose grid
- Answer key
- Footloose directions
The Triangles Footloose and digital task cards and quiz require students to:
- Classify triangles by sides (isosceles, equilateral, scalene)
- Classify triangles by angles (acute, obtuse, right)
- Find missing angles
- Find missing sides
The Triangles Math Wheel includes:
- Student math wheel, sample, and key
- Space for notes about the triangle types
- Space for examples
- Practice problems (around the wheel)
- Doodling/coloring opportunity!
The PDF for the digital resource includes:
- Link to self-checking Task Cards in Slides (same 30 questions as Footloose)
- Paper recording sheet
- Link to Quick Quiz in Forms (10 questions)
- Instructions for cards and for quiz
Using the self-checking Google Slides Task Cards:
- Each card has 3 answer choices in blue boxes – these are clickable.
- Students just need to select their answer and they’ll move to a feedback slide, which will tell them if their answer was correct or incorrect.
Students should view in Presentation Mode
- When students choose their answer in presentation mode, they’ll automatically be taken to a “Correct” or “Incorrect” slide, so they’ll receive immediate feedback.
- Students can use the Back button to go back and review the question, and they could then try again.
- The Next button on the Correct/Incorrect slides takes students to the next task card.
